Our Original Raw Cacao Body Butter is packed with 50% cacao (cocoa) butter and other skin-loving oils and butters like shea butter, coconut oil, and avocado oil. We also add a little natural beeswax, and some arrow root to lock in the moisture and give it a smooth, silky feel on the skin!

This is a all-natural body butter that is solid at room temperature, but melts "like butter" when it makes contact with your skin. It contains no water or emulsifiers, just raw butter, oil and wax, and thereby provides an intense level of hydration to dry, thirsty skin!

Perhaps best of all, our Original Raw Cacao Body Butter retains the natural cocoa (chocolate) aroma of cacao! Massaging our Cacao Body Butter into your skin is a decadent experience that some have compared to “frosting" yourself from head to toe in chocolate!

For best results, apply to warm skin after a long bath or shower and allow the butter to fully soak into the skin before getting dressed. May be applied daily for severely dry skin, or as an occasional deep moisturizer for all skin types. Either way, just a little of this moisture rich butter goes a really long way!

Please note: Our Orginal Raw Cacao Body Butter is solid at room temperature and is non-whipped for stability in shipping and heat resistance. But since it contains raw natural butters and oils, it is still sensitive to temperature and should be stored in a cool, dark place (at or below 82 degrees Fahrenheit). It is for this reason that we may choose to deactivate this listing during the summer months.

Storage Tip: Store in a cool, dark place at 82 degrees F or less. Should you experience any "meltage" or grainy texture, your body butter can be fully remelted in a crockpot on low for a minimum of 45 minutes, stirring every 10-15 minutes. Then allow it to re-harden to a semisolid state in the fridge and stir or even whip it to your desired consistency!
